C.A.M.O Kids --- (Christians Are Mighty Outstanding Kids)
Because most of the kids have been in Children’s Choir since 5:30pm, we begin the evening by allowing them to unwind outside for a few minutes when the weather permits. When it does not, we play a game of their choice inside. Then, we separate into classes for rotations Bible skills (verse memorization, learning books of the Bible), Bible stories, crafts, and recreation. The children are divided into age groups for both their lessons and activities: 3yrs-1st, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade. On nights with a large number in attendance, the classes can be split to allow a better learning environment. The children earn “Bible Bucks” as they progress within their groups to be redeemed for items in the monthly C.A.M.O. Kids Store. The program is free. Nursery care is provided for children birth-2 years on Wednesday evenings.

C.A.M.O. Kids Activities:
C.A.M.O. Kids Store Night
Every week, students have the opportunity to earn “Bible Bucks” by attending, bring their Bible, bringing a friend, memorizing Bible verses, outstanding behavior, and a number of other ways. The first Wednesday of
every month beginning in October and ending in June, we have the C.A.M.O. Kids Store Night. The store is stocked with Bibles, all kinds of toys, and a variety of other items, all of which can be purchased using the Bible Bucks the kids have earned. Real dollars are not accepted. This is hands down the kids’ favorite night of the month.
Monthly Birthday Parties
The third Wednesday of each month we celebrate the birthdays of the month. Birthday boys and girls receive a gift certificate worth 5 Bible Bucks. Because the store closes for the summer, those who have birthdays during those months receive their gift certificate in May, as do those who have fall birthdays and are promoting into Youth, so that they may use it in the final store of the season in June.
Throughout the year, we have nights where we take a break from our normal programming and do something different. We have movie nights, a 4th of July Party, a Water Party, a back to school Recruitment Party, a God’s Creation Costume Party, just to name a few. We also take a few weeks at Christmas and Easter to focus specifically on why those days are so important.
